CLEAN AND PRESS/IRON ALL GARMENTS. The better your items look, the more you can charge and the faster they will sell.
PUT CLOTHING ON A HANGER FACING LEFT. PANTS SHOULD BE SAFETY PINNED TO THE TOP OF THE HANGER. Hangers should look like a question mark (?). Please DO NOT use adult size hangers for clothes size 4T and under. (When the hanger is sitting in front of you, the hanger will look like a question mark and the hook of the hanger will be facing left.) For maternity pants, please use an adult size pant hanger.
SAFETY PIN THE TAG TO THE UPPER RIGHT HAND CORNER of the garmet with a medium to large size safety pin. The following items are not allowed on clothing: tiny gold or silver safety pins and tape (when using these items tags fall off!).
ITEMS OTHER THAN CLOTHING should have the tag attached with PACKING TAPE to the exterior of the item. Remember tags are removed at the time of checkout so don't get carried away with the tape. Infant blankets, onesies, bibs, etc. WILL BE SPOT CHECKED AT CHECK-IN SO PLEASE DO NOT PUT UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS IN THE BAGS.
TOYS AND GAMES must HAVE ALL PIECES, BE CLEAN, NOT BE OUT OF DATE and NOT RECALLED. If the toy has small pieces that are included with the toy, place small pieces in a ziplock bag, tape the bag closed with packing tape and securly attach to the bigger toy (if applicable). This reduces the risk of loosing pieces.
GROUP SMALL ITEMS in a large ziplock bag. Tape the top of the baggie closed (with packing tape) with the tag taped to the outside of the bag. Do NOT place tag inside of bags.
WHEN GROUPING ITEMS TOGETHER do not put more than 2 shirts or pants together in a set. They DON'T SELL! Make sure that all items in the group are acceptable for the sale (ie. no stains, no holes, etc.)
BATTERIES MUST BE IN ALL ITEMS THAT REQUIRE THEM. We will check these items at check-in and will return any that are not in working order.
